A little loosening up before I play some Dragon Age. I should sleep, but meh.

Sleep is fo' suckaz.

Not for class. Class isn't enough. You have to put in outside time to practice the concepts.

Sketching, writing and watching Reboot. Goddamn, I missed this show.

The best way to make sure I update is to post my classwork. No matter how godawful.

Here's what I'm the absolute worst at:

Drawing heads
Drawing hands
value
charcoal

Guess what class I'm in. Heads and Hands! It's oppressive, but I know that by the end I'll come out better than when I came in.

I also suck at crosshatching

Entertainment at it's best, folks. =_=
Anyone that looks like these guys should seek help.

Now THESE I feel good about. 5 minutes or less.

Perspective Drawings

Well, I finally passed my perspective class. I'm a little sad that it's over. I realized that while it's the most difficult thing I've done, I really love it. I think I want to be a layout artist for animation. (Man, do I have a long way to go.)

Good times.

I did comic pages for my final. They're test pages for the script I wrote two semesters ago in Comics Writing.

My comics writing instructor wrote a book. Check it out.

Time for some changes.

First of all, I have to update this blog every week with at LEAST my work from class. How can I call myself an artist with no art to show, right?

Second, I will be practicing a lesson a week from an awesome book I got recently.

Third, I'm typing. If I'm typing, there is no pencil in my hand.

(Oh, I need to post that in huge letters all over my room.)
